Meet baby "A". He was the sweetest and most calm baby ever. (He gave me a little baby fever...shhhh!!) Mom, Dad and big brother "N" were no strangers to being photographed. Their home was filled with delicious memories framed everywhere. I love it. Mom had some ideas to replicate poses they did for their first born. We used the Babystyle lamb chair that big brother "N" was photographed every single month by his mommy. They turned out great! I loved meeting this family and seeing their love for their two boys. So many babies, I could just melt. Baby "T" (below) is 3 months and FULL of beautiful smiles. I can tell I am going to have such a great time documenting him grow this year! I am so impatient. I make my husband open his birthday presents before his birthday because I can't wait any longer. I found out the sex of my babies at 10 weeks gestation because how could you possibly wait until 20 weeks?!....you get my point, right?

Remember the "M" boys from this past Fall? Well, they just welcomed their new baby brother to the family. As I was editing these images, all I kept thinking was how gorgeous these boys are. Really, it's quite impressive:) Baby brother "L" was just the sweetest little newborn. So sweet and sleepy. He even flashed a few smiles. I love those smiles of contentment! Have I mentioned before that if I had a girl I would be very, very broke?:) There is just SO much out there to buy for girls I dont think I would be able to stop. Anyway, I just bought this dress for a gift from Illia Designs from Etsy (my favorite). Isn't the cutest? What is so great about this design is that after the child grew out of it as a dress it could be worn as a tunic/top. Love the clothes that grow with you! Anyway, I like to post my shopping finds for photography wardrobe reasons and because I know there is someone reading this who loves a little retail therapy like me.

Happy (belated) St. Patricks Day! Yesterday my boys had their little friend "M" over for lunch. I am pretty sure they are tired of me taking their photo.:) Luckily, Miss "M" was my picture perfect model for a few shots. Love this little face! Busy weekend coming up! Stay tuned:)

Ahh! It feels so good to have great weather! I will take it- even if it is just for a few days. Cale and I have been battling walking pneumonia so we have been hanging out a lot together lately. Sadly I had to reschedule a newborn session because I was afraid of my icky germs with a baby. So, until then...it's time to enjoy the weather and get back to good health!

"M's Belly on Vacation

We just returned from the best vacation in Punta Mita, Mexico. It was an incentive trip for my husband's business. Staying at the Four Seasons was just what the Dr. ordered! Lots of relaxation and pampering. Since this is the second year we went, I already had made a few friends.

Meet "M"! I hit it off with her last year immediately. She is totally my kind of girl. She is expecting her first little bundle of joy. A little boy! "M" has a few months left to go...but oh my she looks so good. I really wanted to show her a picture of myself pregnant to give her a good laugh. (45 lbs each baby! No joke).

"M" is a fashionista and I love her style. It was such a treat photographing her at one of the most beautiful locations ever. Congrats "M" and "B"!!! I am so excited for you both.

Hunting for boys clothes

I am always on the hunt for cute boys clothes. I definitely do love Mini Boden and Baby Gap, but so doesn't every other mother on the planet. If you want something truely unique for boys you have to search hard. One of my obsessions these days is Etsy. The variety is endless and there are oh so many unique handmade products. I recently bought this shirt for Cale from from Super Sweet Creations and I am pretty sure I love it. However, sometimes I think he may look a little like Mike Brady going off to work. I guess he needs to "own it" to pull it off.

I snapped this shot of him today and of course he wanted to take his "camera" out too.
I had to add this photo as well. Seriously, who laughs this hard while reading a book about a rabbit and a rainbow? Oh boy, I love this kid!

If you cannot already tell, I am girly girl. Living with three adorable boys doesn't allow me my daily fix of pink, ribbons and tutus. Luckily, I occasionally have the opportunity to photograph a baby like sweet "M" and get my feminine fill for the day.

I had such a great time capturing this family. Baby "M" is such an easy going beautiful little girl. You can see where she gets her looks- mom and dad aren't so bad themselves :).

I had big plans for this Christmas Week for photography. Unfortunately my camera got sick on Christmas morning. Of course! So, I borrowed a friends camera this morning which was compatable with my lenses and tried to see what I could do. Here is a small peek at my friends kids (the famous "S" kids) who were willing to be my last minute models. I should have my camera back next week...yeah! I will say, I have enjoyed the Canon Rebel...thanks Ally for lending it to me!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and I am so excited for 2010. Thanks to all my clients the past few months who made my business a reality. I feel blessed.

Holiday Card Perfection

Remember my post about the "S" kids holiday session? Well Mom did NOT disappoint with her holiday card! I have to say there is definitely an art in creating a beautiful holiday card and Mom succeeded!

I have gotten feedback from various clients that they need help! (Good to know! Maybe I will provide some sort of service next year?!) Anyway, this card or shall I say mini book was designed through minted.com who I have been very happy with. The paper quality is excellent and I love their attention to detail. The return address labels they used were also gorgeous!

So...what I love about this card is the simplicity. Each photo is gets the attention it deserves. The colors are simple and they coordinate with the photos. Great job "D"...They are to die for! (the kids AND the cards :))

The "P" Family

Meet the "P" family. I have known "Mom" forever...maybe since the 5th grade? Now she is happily married with two adorable little ones. Miss "C" just had a birthday the day before which we were lucky enough to celebrate with her! Little "C" is so sweet, just three months old and is going to be a little heart breaker. I loved the holiday spirit for this session, which of course is why I choose my favorite holiday song....(Ms. Mariah!) It's the cheeseball in me.

One thing I have loved about starting this business is having the opportunity to reconnect with old friends. I went to high school with "Mom" and have not seen her since we graduated. When she contacted me about a session I was so excited! I knew her boys would be to-die-for and they were! Mom has gorgeous eyes and as you can see both boys do too! During this session we fed the ducks, ate lollipops, found catepillars-it was SO all boy. I loved every minute of it. Thanks so much for the opportunity to catch up and capture these two guys!

This was my most emotional photo shoot to date. There was so much genuine love between this mother and daughter! There were a few tissue breaks during our session. I remember when I moved back to Marblehead 4 years ago and met this family. The first thing I could think was that this lovely couple made very very very beautiful children! Four years later, the kids are all grown up (still beautiful) and pretty much the best behaved children I have seen. Mom and Dad have done an excellent job with their family! Thanks so much guys!

The "L" Girls & Matilda Jane Clothing

Let me start out by saying, when you have three adorable faces like this......

they could wear anything and look OUTSTANDING! But, when the "L" girls showed up for their mini shoot in Matilda Jane I was in love.

Mrs. "L" is actually hosting a trunk show the weekend of November 20-22nd. It is an open house format. Matilda Jane clothes cannot be purchased online, only through trunk shows! If you are local and would like more info, please email me!

The "C" Kids (mini session)

I have known the "C" family's Dad my entire life. He is friends with both of my older brothers and now is happily married with two very sweet children. Mr. "D" was all smiles and giving me direction on taking his photograph. He completely cracked me up! Miss "E" would have been on my personal favorite student list (if I was still teaching). She is so sweet, shy and gentle. I could listen to her Barbie and Pet stories for hours. Thanks guys for a great session.

The "A" Kids (mini session)

Meet the "A" girls. Gorgeous, sweet and full of personality. Big sister "J" was ready to work the camera immediately. Her smile and her poses were priceless. Miss "T" was so sweet and was in love with her Daddy. (makes me melt) I could have photographed these girls all day long.

The "B" Kids (mini session)

Mom and Dad need to send these two to the Gap casting call and get them to work! Are they not the cutest kids who look like little Gap models? Seriously! Not only are they crazy cute, but they are so sweet with fantastic personalities.

The "O" Kids (mini session)

My first mini session! In the beginning, Miss "A" was not about to have her photo taken. After some singing and playing she warmed right up to me and the camera. Quite often we sing all kinds of songs while we "play" during our photo shoot. My typical songs are "Wheels on the Bus" etc. Miss "A" requested "All The Single Ladies" which totally cracked me up. I am not sure I can do a good Beyonce impression, but I will give anything a try once. Her little brother Mr. "C" is simply so sweet and on the move! I remember this stage with my own two guys and how much they love to run and explore. Thanks "O" kids for being so great!

Family Session: "S" Family

Meet the "S" family. These are personal friends of mine, so I really had a lot of fun photographing them. Mom and I have been trying to coordinate a session for a while and I am so happy it finally worked out. Dad is a classmate of mine from high school. It is really fun to witness your friends grow from their teenage years to adulthood. Both Mom and Dad are great parents to their children- who are pretty darn cute I might add. Mom did such a great job coordinating their wardrobe. Everyone's outfits complimented eachothers so well. Can you stand the tights? Thanks guys for letting me capture your beautiful family.

Circus Birthday Party!

One circus party coming up! As I mentioned before, I do love parties of all kinds. I am by no means a professional party planner, but I do like putting together the details. A few months back when I was looking for ideas for my sons birthday, I consulted with my dearest friend Kim from the Tomkat Studio. At the time, she was taking a break from her etsy shop to start a fantastic line of DIY party printables. You must go check her out.

So, I went searching on etsy for ideas and came across this very cute circus/carnival theme designed by Dimple Prints. Carli created some fun decor for the party including these fun cupcake toppers below.

For dinner we has one giant italian sub. woah.

Session with little "D"

The day my site launched I received an email from an old friend from childhood. She was visiting in town with her son "D" and wanted to schedule a session because he had just turned one! I have to smile when I look at this photo of my oldest son. He is the happiest guy I know..even without his two front teeth. I needed to post something fun since I am not so "happy" about my website STILL not being live. The hosting company went silent on me and they do not accept phone calls. So, I am annoyed, but this little face makes my day a little brighter.

Meet Miss "N"! Her mom and auntie are life long friends of mine. They were visiting from out of town to meet their brand new niece (she is up next!) They found the time to squeeze in her "one year old" photo shoot. She is absolutely gorgeous and so much fun for me to photograph. In just minutes, she warmed right up to the camera and became quite a little ham. Thanks Miss "N" for letting me capture so much cuteness in one day.
